Welcome to Qecuni. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our apartment soundproofing installation services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any service request.
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
All quotations provided by Qecuni are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Our soundproofing installation services include consultation, material supply, and professional installation as detailed in your specific service agreement. Quotations are based on the information provided by the Client and may be subject to revision following a site inspection.
We reserve the right to refuse service or modify quotations if site conditions differ materially from those initially described. Any additional work required beyond the original scope will be quoted separately and requires Client approval before proceeding.
The Client agrees to:
Payment terms are as follows: a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total quoted amount is required upon acceptance of the quotation to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation and Client satisfaction inspection. We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as agreed upon.
Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of three percent (3%) per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower. If payment is not received within thirty (30) days of the due date, we reserve the right to suspend warranty coverage and pursue collection through appropriate legal channels.
Installation timelines are estimates based on typical project conditions. While we strive to complete all work within the agreed timeframe, Qecuni shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: adverse weather conditions, material supply delays, unforeseen structural issues, or Client-requested modifications.
The Client will be notified promptly of any anticipated delays. Upon completion, a final walkthrough will be conducted to ensure Client satisfaction before the project is considered complete.
Qecuni warrants that all soundproofing installations will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner using quality materials appropriate for residential applications. We provide a warranty period of twelve (12) months from the completion date, covering defects in workmanship and materials supplied by us.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper use, modifications by third parties, accidents, or failure to maintain the installation as recommended. To make a warranty claim, contact us at [email protected] with details and photographic evidence of the issue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qecuni's total liability for any claims arising from our Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific Services giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Clients may cancel services with written notice. Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before the scheduled installation date will receive a full refund of the deposit minus a fifteen percent (15%) administrative fee. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the scheduled date will forfeit fifty percent (50%) of the deposit. Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours or no-shows will forfeit the entire deposit.
Qecuni reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, Clients will receive full refunds of any payments made or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
All designs, specifications, methodologies, and proprietary techniques used by Qecuni remain our intellectual property. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or disclose such information to third parties without our express written consent. Photographs and descriptions of completed projects may be used by Qecuni for marketing purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Client information is used solely for service delivery, communication, and record-keeping purposes. We do not sell or share Client information with third parties except as necessary to provide Services or as required by law. In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services provided, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties may pursue mediation before resorting to litigation. Any legal proceedings shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Qecuni reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the revision date clearly indicated. Continued use of our Services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For existing projects, the Terms in effect at the time of contract signing shall apply.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
